Please select the infectious agent of your interest from the pull-down menu and enter the following values: 1) Carbon dioxide concentration in ppm units (greater than 400 ppm and up to 2000 ppm, excluding 400 ppm.), 2) Number of people infected, 3) Number of people not infected, 4) Average body weight (in kilograms) of people in the room, 5) Size of the room (in cubic meters), and 6) Duration of time spent in the room (in minutes). The realistic minimum volume of the room is calculated with a ceiling height of 2.5 meters.
In this example, the red-colored person is potentially infected with the selected agent from the drop-down menu and is coughing and sneezing, while the blue-colored person is not infected but is susceptible to infection. The calculator estimates the likelihood of infection for the blue-colored individuals in the room based on the values you provide.
