Input Log-Phase OD600 Values

• You will see fields to enter log-phase OD600 values at two distinct time points.
• For the first time point, enter the OD600 value and the corresponding time in the format hh:mm.
• For the second time point, enter the OD600 value and the corresponding time in the same format.

Enter Desired Growth Level

• In the field labelled "Desired OD600," input the OD600 value you aim to achieve for your bacterial culture.

Calculate the Time to Desired Growth Level

• Tap the "Calculate" button. The app will use the provided OD600 values and sampling times to calculate the time required to reach the desired growth level.

Review Growth Schedule

• The app will display the calculated results, including the time required to achieve the desired OD600 and growth rate.
• You will see the sampling points, growth rates, waiting time, and estimated time to reach the target OD600.

Set a Timer

• If you are satisfied with the calculated time, tap the button labelled "Start Countdown"
• The app will set a timer to notify you when the specified growth level is reached.  You can tap between any time before the estimated time.

Receive Notification

• Once the timer is set, you can continue with other tasks. The app will run in the background.
• When the calculated time is up, the app will send you a notification alerting you that your culture has reached the desired OD600 level.

Refresh for New Calculations

• To start a new calculation, tap the "Refresh" button. This will reset the input fields, allowing you to enter new OD600 values and desired growth levels for another calculation.
