Crowdedness in a room

The perceived crowdedness of a space can be subjective and influenced by various factors, including the number of people and the distance between them. Here's a general list indicating levels of crowdedness along with corresponding distances between adults and the number of adult occupied in the room.  Please refer to the following table when entering values for the room volume and the number of occupied people.  The app triggers the alert when the room is unrealistically full, namely when the area occupied by one adult is less than 0.8 square meters.  As a rule of thumb, the room volume should be larger than twice the number of occupants to avoid unrealistic crowding in the room.

Crowdedness Distance PersonalSpace SmallRoom MediumRoom LargeRoom
Spacious 2.0 < Ample < 4 < 5 < 9
Comfortable 1.5 ~ 2.0 Reasonable 4 ~ 5 5 ~ 7 9 ~ 13
Moderate 1.0 ~ 1.5 Moderate 5 ~ 8 7 ~ 11 13 ~ 20
Crowded 0.5 ~1.0 Close 8 ~ 14 11 ~ 20 20 ~ 36
Very crowded 0.0 ~0.5 Tightly packed 14 ~ 32 20 ~ 46 36 ~ 82

Distance between two adults in meters. Space = Personal space. Small room = 62.5 cubic meters, medium room = 90.0 cubic meters, large room = 160.0 cubic meters. The number of adult occupants is shown in each room according to the level of crowding.
